Pantone’s President Elley Cheng reveals that it involves a ‘thoughtful process culminating in a colour that embodies the spirit of the times - it’s not just about what is happening, it’s about what people are feeling.’ In 2025, the Pantone Colour Institute cited the ‘search for harmony’ as a critical factor in their decision-making. Harmony is described by Laurie Pressman (Vice president of Pantone’s Colour Institute) as ‘the synthesis of our mental and physical well-being.’ The chosen colour, Mocha Mousse, endeavours to create this harmony.
What is Mocha Mousse?
