As we wrap up 2023, we can reveal that it’s been a big year for dining rooms and entertaining spaces. Dining Chairs and Bar Stools remain in the top spot for bestselling items this year, meaning our Saintly shoppers have likely perfected their hosting skills in time for Christmas. In terms of stylistic trends, our early 2023 predictions included dopamine colours, bold patterns, eclectic pieces and statement materials. It seems though, that many shoppers have opted to stick with classical, comfortable and contemporary furniture choices.

1: The Brooklyn Dining Chairs & Bar Stools
The versatile industrial appeal of the Brooklyn Collection remains a go-to for many of our shoppers. This luxurious range of leather and metal dining chairs and bar stools is modern, clean and versatile. All of the leather upholstery has been hand-dyed in a choice of different colours and carefully stitched to create a cushioned, ribbed effect. The metal legs are also finished in a series of metallic shades and feature a tapering shape which keeps things modern and fresh.

2: The Cesca Dining Chairs & Bar Stools
Up next is the iconic Cesca. Similar to the Brooklyn, our Cesca is available in both dining chair and bar stool form. Making a statement with a chrome cantilever base, all Cesca chairs feature the same Mid-century and Scandi appeal, with both classical and clean lines throughout the design. Bringing together cane webbing, solid wood and smooth chrome, each piece in the collection has enough variation in the tones and materials used that it works well in a variety of spaces.

4: Farmhouse Bar Stool
The Farmhouse Bar Stool is the classic seating option for a shaker kitchen. Traditional, rustic and exuding artisan appeal, the Farmhouse is a solid wood stool available in a choice of heights and finishes. The Farmhouse is our fourth most popular item of 2023, which tells us that the timeless shaker style isn’t going anywhere.

5: French Farmhouse Dining Chair
Our fifth most popular item is one for the romantics. The French Farmhouse Dining Chair features a solid bentwood structure evocative of quaint bistros on cobbled streets, with a woven backrest and seat pad that adds charming detail - there’s even an incorporated wicker plait for added texture, decoration and French points.
